The IT and Security teams build, monitor and maintain their corporate and production infrastructure that their fans need to play their games. WHAT WE NEED:

2K is looking for an enthusiastic, talented and personable Application Security Specialist who enjoys a collaborative and creative work environment and is looking to push the boundaries of our Anti-Cheat, Anti-Piracy and Anti-Toxicity efforts to join our globally growing security team.

Applicants will be highly motivated and organized, able to work as part of a team, communicate with our game studios as well as security vendors.

You will help improving the security of games and inhouse applications throughout the development and life cycle and help implement new security measures. The ideal candidate brings a strong knowledge and background of (anti-)cheat solutions and is aware of new security threats and propose appropriate solutions when identified.

Equally important to technical skills is the collaboration with game teams and other tech teams to transfer security knowledge.

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Identify potential threats in our games and in-house applications
  • Help designing secure software in a proper CI/CD pipeline
  • Conduct code review and security review
  • Conduct and coordinate penetration testing of our games and software
  • Help setting up automatic SAST/DAST testing
  • Reproduce and triage vulnerabilities from game bug bounty projects
  • Coordinate and evolve game bug bounty projects
  • Support and consult with product and development teams in the area of application security, including threat modeling and appsec reviews
  • Support the preparation of security releases
  • Assist in development of security processes and automated tooling that prevent classes of security issues

 

MUST HAVE:

  • Able to work well with software development teams
  • Experience identifying security issues through code review
  • Excellent and professional communication skills (written and verbal) with an ability to articulate complex topics in a clear and concise manner
  • Familiarity with some common security libraries and tools (e.g. static analysis tools, proxying / penetration testing tools)

 

NICE TO HAVE:

  • Development and scripting experience, basic reverse engineering skills and understanding of network and web related protocols are a plus.
