As a part of this transformation journey we have set up a GIC in the silicon valley of India - Bangalore. This state of the art GIC is responsible for driving excellence in IT and OT for Airbus.

What is the Airbus Security Defence team doing?
Today, governments, companies and private individuals are increasingly the target of attacks like theft of intellectual property, sensitive information and even money. As per the recent study by Cybercrime Magazine the cyber crimes will cost the world $10.5 trillion annually by 2025.
Security threats have increased drastically in the last few years and organizations are facing an increasingly complex threat landscape. Airbus digitalization is bringing many opportunities but they come with new risks. Therefore, the main mission of the Airbus digital security team is to identify the risks and threats that Airbus as an organization faces and propose appropriate preventive, detective and corrective measures against these cyber threats. Digital security team is supporting Airbus businesses and ensuring their protection against cyber threats all the time.
Qualification & Experience:
We’re looking for passionate people, who are eager to learn, willing to share, and establishing innovative ways of working and influencing culture change.
Bachelor degree or Masters in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
4 to 7+ years of experience in information security, cybersecurity and/or IT risk management
Excellent communication, business reporting and stakeholder management and project management skills
Knowledge of current IT risks, security implementations, and computer systems
Past experience of working as a security analyst and/or in cyber security project manager
Proven ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines and utilize time effectively
Motivated to succeed, solution focused and problem-solving skills
Good interpersonal and communication skills, works effectively as a team player
Experience in Agile, SAFE & Scrum methodology is preferred
Responsibilities
End to end project management from kick-off to entry into RUN mode
Proactively plan and coordinate the deployment activities to ensure the priorities are followed, and the projects are delivered on time
Support the development, implementation and execution of Information Security processes, and be accountable for cybersecurity topics/projects
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess security risks, develop strategies, and implement solutions to mitigate risks
Work alongside Airbus architecture and consulting team to ensure robustness, performance and security aspects within the architecture design, security-by-design
Support security incident response efforts, including supporting investigation and resolving of security incidents in a timely manner
Ensure that security policies and standards are being followed across the teams
Conduct regular briefings to understand product upgrades, roadmap of features
Participate in Security threat and monitoring forums to learn and keep abreast of the latest latest cyber security trends, vulnerabilities, and emerging threats
Collaborate with other security teams in understanding their needs in maintaining and configuring security components and tools
Continuously assess and enhance the security framework ensuring that it aligns with the vision of the security defence center
