Cyber Integration Center Lead

Evolver Federal is seeking a skilled Cyber Integration Lead to join our team, responsible for overseeing our Managed Services, including the management of our Security Operations Center (SOC) and Enterprise Operations Center (EOC) for a Federal client. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in integrating agile principles into cybersecurity practices and managing a combined monitoring environment encompassing NOC/SOC operations. This role demands strong leadership capabilities to guide specialized IT and cybersecurity teams effectively

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Security Operations Center (SOC) and Enterprise Operations Center (EOC).
• Integrate agile principles into cybersecurity, network, application monitoring, cyber threat intelligence, threat hunting, penetration testing, and forensics.
• Lead and mentor a team of IT and cybersecurity specialists, ensuring high performance and professional development.
• Coordinate incident response activities, including detection, analysis, containment, eradication, and recovery efforts.
• Ensure adherence to uptime requirements through proactive monitoring and rapid response to incidents and hardware exceptions.
• Develop and maintain incident records and reports for analysis and review.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and enhance cybersecurity measures and response capabilities.
• Conduct regular assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigating actions.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing clear updates on incidents, vulnerabilities, and cybersecurity posture.
• Implement and enforce cybersecurity policies, procedures, and best practices.

Basic Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 10 Years of relevant experience
• 5 years of experience integrating and managing agile principles into cybersecurity, network, application monitoring, cyber threat intelligence, threat hunting, penetration testing and forensics
• GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), CISSP, CompTIA Advanced Security Certifications
• Practitioner + (CASP+), CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+), PMP, CSM, PMI-ACP

Preferred Requirements:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Proven experience managing combined monitoring environments of NOC/SOC in enterprise settings.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, vulnerabilities, incident handling, and analysis.
• Experience with agile methodologies and integrating agile principles into cybersecurity practices.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop highly specialized IT and cybersecurity teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation abilities.
• Ability to manage stress effectively and make critical decisions under pressure.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
