The role

As part of the Sandoz Security Operations team the Global Service Manager, SecOps will be responsible for the entire management of the Security Toolset lifecycle, including new tools to be implemented, roadmap management, qualification for GxP and both creation and maintenance of service queues or forms. This high seniority role is accountable for continuous service improvement of the security service and toolset and have a direct influence on delivery to enhance the organization's cybersecurity capabilities.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Maintain a clear track of Security Tools in conjunction with the Security Operations vision.

  • Ensure proper existence of queues in our Sandoz cross-teams tool like SNOW.

  • Ensure capacity planning for demands towards Security Engineering, Vulnerability Management and Data Loss Prevention.

  • Benchmark and ensure that SOC processes are working effectively, respecting SLAs/OLAs and identify areas for improvement.

  • Support the optimization of the Sandoz SOAR platforms, Vulnerability Management and Configuration baseline tools.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and develop strategies for leveraging our tools to improve security operations.

  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in security operations and SOC/Cyber Defense Centre.

  • Evaluate and recommend new security tools and technologies that can enhance the organization's security posture.

  • Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure proper support, maintenance, and licensing of the security tools.

What you’ll bring to the role:

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience as a Security Service Manager or Security Program Manager, focus on Security Operations, Security Engineering and SOC highly valued.

  • Strong proficiency in security technologies, and incident response processes.

  • Extensive experience in managing Global tools and Global teams roadmaps, understanding progress and constrains, identify challenges ahead of time.

  • Extensive experience with collaboration tools such as ServiceNOW, support queues, layer of services.

  • Familiarity with security tools and technologies, and their continuous service improvement.

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

  • Understanding of security operations center (SOC) processes, incident response frameworks, and industry best practices.

  • Relevant certifications such as ITIL, PRINCE2, Agile are beneficial.
