Senior Security Operations Engineer

TelevisaUnivision Management Company in Dallas, TX seeks a full-time Senior Security Operations Engineer responsible for the design, implementation, operation, and management of critical data security and related network components. Lead the design and implementation of mission critical security and related network components in support of internal partner and external connectivity. Lead the technical knowledge of supported environments and be a key point of escalation for critical and complex issues impacting the business. Lead internal and external operations teams, including creation and maintenance of documentation, operational procedures and methods, metrics reporting, and root cause analysis. Responsible for the creation and testing of security and network component performance testing, data backup, logging analysis, automation scripting, and disaster recovery procedures. Manage vendors and other resources in support of operational requirements. Follow change process and documentation requirements. Remain current on new products, services, protocols, and standards to design and develop supported systems. Assess need for any system optimization or remediation, make recommendations, and execute them as required.

Master’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field plus 1 year of experience in the occupation or as a network security engineer or network security analyst. Will also accept a Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field plus 5 years of experience in the occupation or as a network security

engineer or network security analyst. Employer is willing to accept any suitable combination of work experience education, and training.

Must be well versed with Checkpoint firewall products and methods.
