Purpose

Help protect IDEMIA’s asset by ensuring validity, correctness and completeness of Financial Reports issued by the COE Team. Ensure full compliance to SRC Team’s Service Level Agreements (SLA).  On-time, in-full delivery of Financial Reports to both Internal and External parties on a periodic basis.

Key Missions

•    Accountable for the validity and correctness of the Balance sheets of all countries handled. 
•    Lead Balance Sheet review on quarterly basis with Cluster Finance Manager.
•    Main responsible for posting journal entries, fixed assets depreciation run, inventory reconciliation, forex revaluation, bank recon, prepayments, and accruals.
•    Accountable for the correctness and completeness of Profit and Loss Statements of all countries handled.
•    Review monthly finance statements prepared by outsource accounting provider.
•    Work closely with Country Finance to calculated Legal Entities full year profitability.
•    Responsible for the quality, timeliness and accuracy of financial reports for countries handled specifically Cockpit Reporting (TM1, SAPBFC), IFRS16 and other reports required by the Group HQ. 
•    Direct coordination with local finance managers, Financial Reporting Analysis team, and regional controlling on accounting related instructions. 
•    Handle external audit related activities of countries handled. Drive and ensure timely completion and approval of annual financial statement up to preparation of draft financial statements, supporting schedules and submission to Consolidation team.•    For countries handled, ensure COE Service Level Agreements (SLA) are met, issues are addressed on a timely manner and stakeholders are informed of open issues based on SLA.  
•    Identify and highlight to SRC Manager all efficiency and productivity improvements on SRC functions as well as other accounting functions. 
•    Ensure internal control compliance on all SRC functions for entities handled. Support internal audit and internal control activities for countries handled. 
•    Other functions to be assigned by the SRC Manager. 

Profile & Other Information

Experience & background
• At least 5-year experience in Financial Reporting and experience in leading a small team.

Education
• Degree in Accountancy, CPA preferred but not required


Technical skills
• Strong understanding of the best in class finance practices and processes
• Knowledge of IFRS reporting requirements is necessary

• Analytical and detail-oriented; able to make good business sense from financial data
• Excellent decision making and problem-solving ability
