Summary:

The Network Security Analyst is a member of the Enterprise Infrastructure team and is responsible for ensuring the security of Virtua Health network infrastructure. The Network Security Analyst understands cyberattacks, malware, and the behavior of cybercriminals, and actively seeks to anticipate and prevent these attacks. The network security analyst also analyzes traffic to identify data irregularities and anomalies.

Position Responsibilities:

Responds to Customer Support Center, staff, site personnel and outside vendors to provide technical assistance and level 2 support of infrastructure security systems.

Configuration and installation of firewalls, IPS sensors, load balancers VPN devices and other infrastructure solutions.

Regularly monitor all network security devices to provide rapid issue resolution and provide reporting metrics as needed.

Leads small infrastructure security projects. May also act as IS Project Support and as a liaison between project managers and the network security team projects.

Participates in security audits and penetration testing and related remediation.



Position Qualifications Required / Experience Required:

Required Experience:

Three to five years’ experience in supporting enterprise network security systems, Cisco or Aruba Networks or Palo Alto.  Certification in enterprise network security grade systems required, Cisco, Aruba Networks or Palo Alto.

Required Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity Engineering, related degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Training / Certification / Licensure:

Technical Certification required, Palo Alto PCNSA, CISSP or equivalent industry certification.
