Job Description

A3T is seeking qualified candidates to work with our client and provide policy, oversite, compliance guidance, implementation, synchronization and execution services to meet the Government’s mission requirements. We will be providing quick-response services, such as document reviews and preparing technical and procedural information papers, as well as providing technical services in support of conferences and meetings as directed.

The Assessment and Authorization (A&A) Analyst will support the Authorization Official (AO) appointment process for the Army CIO. Department of Defense Instruction (DODI) 8500.01 (Cybersecurity) and 8510.01 (Risk Management Framework (RMF) for DoD Information Technology (IT)), requires the appointment of an Authorizing Official for each Army Information System (IS), Army partnered system, and platform information technology system with the responsibility for authorizing the system’s operation based on achieving and maintaining an acceptable risk posture.

Responsibilities:

• Organize, and/or participate in IPT’s, WG’s and or other necessary collaboration forums or meetings with AO’s and/or other members of the Army Community of Interest (i.e., Programs of Records (PoRs) and Non PoRs (i.e., Post, Camps, Stations, Direct Reporting Units (DRUs), etc.)
• Ensure that the AO-Repository remains current across all Cyber Security Directorate maintained locations to include, but not limited to, the DOD RMF Knowledge Service Army Policy Page
• Analyze alternative methods for retaining AO-Repository data
• Process AO nominations in accordance with DA PAM 25-2-12
• Track the status of AO nominations requests
• Provide appropriate reports in the format requested such as, but not limited to, Situation Reports (SITREPs), Points of Main Effort (POMEs), Weekly Activity Reports (WARs), Slides, Executive Summaries (EXSUMS), Technology White Papers etc. (Refer to CDRLs.)

Qualifications

• Top Secret/SCI clearance
• Have knowledge/skills of DoD and Army policies, public laws, regulations, procedures, cyber and cybersecurity tools, and methods associated with the Risk Management Framework and Authorizing Officials
• Be a self-starter and able to drive projects to completion timely and efficiently in a fast-moving environment
• Solid communications skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to analyze the impact to the Army when DOD, CNSS, NIST RMF policy changes affect the AO
• Ability to create, develop and maintain Army AO policy/guidance and evaluate and recommend changes and/or technology upgrades to address management of relevant information
