Nightwing is seeking a Manager to join its Contracts & Supply Chain Compliance team. This individual will report directly to the Associate Director, Supply Chain Compliance Lead, and be responsible for all Procurement and Subcontract compliance activities supporting a number of Sub-Strategic Business Units (SBUs). The successful candidate will be responsible for aligning procurement and subcontract compliance support to meet fluctuating demands and changing priorities across the Nightwing Business Units and will be tasked to focus on driving significant process improvement across the Procurement value stream and integrate Supply Chain Compliance, Material Program Managers, Planning, and other sub-functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing Procurement Compliance strategies that align with Sub-SBU Supply Chain and Program strategies supporting both the capture and execution of business.  Strategies will focus on improving our competitive advantage through lowering costs, improving cycle times, and maintaining compliance to all FAR / DFARS requirements and Nightwing policies and procedures.

Another critical area for this leader is skills development and process improvement to drive performance excellence and efficiency. The successful candidate must embrace the active use of performance metrics for suppliers, programs, and Acquisition Professionals to evolve to a performance-based culture.

Required Skills:

8+ years of applicable work experience in Procurement, Compliance or related field ideally in a US government contractor environment with a BS degree, or 16+ years of applicable work experience at the minimum in lieu of a BS degree can be substituted.

Expert knowledge of procurement and compliance checklist processes

Strong understanding of US Government FAR/DFARS Regulations, Public Law, Import/Export requirements, and procurement / compliance processes

Proven ability to be an Influential communicator in order to achieve buy in for new ideas

Possess excellent written and verbal communications skills

Demonstrated strong project management skills and ability to convert business unit customer requirements into executable Supply Chain strategies, including developing and tracking metrics

Ability to develop and execute project plans within budget and schedule constraints, ability to simultaneously manage multiple programs and priorities

Proven ability to be a role model for open and honest communications

Demonstrated trust and respect for peers and teammates 

Desired Skills:

Active Security Clearance – Secret or above 

Masters in Supply Chain Management or MBA

Sound leadership, problem solving and critical thinking skills, ability to exercise independent judgment and manage complex transactions

Required Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field or 8+ years of experience can be substituted for a Bachelor's degree with an additional 8 years of relevant experience.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
