YOUR ROLE 

Our Engineering Excellence function within Technology & Operations is looking for a Platform Manager – DevSecOps to join its leadership team.

As Platform Manager - DevSecOps, you are responsible for the implementation, operation and adoption of the strategic tools and platforms used by engineers’ company wide. Your role involves standardising tools, leading migration efforts away from, and decommissioning, non-strategic tools. You’ll contribute to engineering's strategic roadmaps and play a key role in defining and promoting CI/CD best practices.

Additionally, you’ll lead a team of technical product owners who act as points of contact for users, address obstacles, share metrics, and manage the entire product lifecycle, backlog, and roadmaps. Collaboration with Engineering Community & Culture and SDLC & Governance managers is essential to drive sustainable engineering excellence and ensure IAG maintains a leading engineering capability in the industry.

This is a full-time permanent role, open for the Sydney and Melbourne locations.  

​ABOUT YOU 

You have strong stakeholder management skills, a solid understanding of modern engineering best practices, expert knowledge of CI/CD technologies, a knack for innovation, and the ability to lead and inspire technology teams. Additionally, you bring the following experience:

• Multiple years working in and leading technology teams within large organisations.
• Ability to design and manage the rollout of strategic programs for 1000+ people.
• Ability to manage a diverse and high performing team across several business lines.
• Solid software engineering background with architectural proficiency.
• ​Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team with proven success at delivering complex engineering initiatives.
• ​Solid understanding of how to build scalable, maintainable, and performant software engineering platforms.
