Shape the future of IT security at Covestro

Covestro's IT Security Architecture & Consulting team is looking for a new manager at the Leverkusen site. This position is critical to ensure that any new development has an appropriate level of security. In addition to defining group-wide security requirements, this includes intensive project support, technical assessments and interaction with Covestro's technical departments.

The focus of your position is to ensure that every new development goes into production with a robust level of security. As Team Leader (m/f/d) you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• The management and further development of your team as well as the individual advancement of your employees

• The continuous revision and definition of group-wide security requirements

• Intensive consulting for development teams in agile and classic project environments

• Creating solution concepts for cloud environments such as AWS and Azure AD

• Supporting internal and external audits

• Further development of the IT security platform and corresponding offerings

• Tracking and evaluating current technology and security trends

You can convince with this personality:

• You have many years of professional experience in IT security, ideally with a strong application focus

• Sound experience in AWS Security, Azure, O365 and Web Application Security (OWASP) is essential

• Practical experience in development environments such as programming and automation is a matter of course for you

• Coupled with your strong technical expertise, you have excellent communication skills

• You are characterized by a hands-on mentality and the intensive support of your team

• You work in a pragmatic and structured way

• You are enthusiastic about the dynamic challenges in the field of IT security

• You know the attack tactics and methods used by attackers

• Team orientation and the appreciation of cohesion are important to you

• You have project management experience and ideally experience in personnel management

• Fluency in German and English rounds off your profile
