Security Technical Program Manager

We are seeking a dynamic Security Technical Program Manager to join our team. This key role is vital in overseeing and advancing Five9's security programs. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical acumen, project management expertise, and exceptional leadership skills to drive the successful execution and management of our security initiatives. You will play a pivotal role in our San Ramon, CA headquarters, enjoying a hybrid work model that blends collaboration and flexibility with three office days per week (Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays). 

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage security projects and programs from inception through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, and operations to integrate security into the development lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management plans.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with security projects.
• Communicate project status, progress, and risks to stakeholders and executive leadership.
• Coordinate and facilitate regular project meetings, ensuring clear communication and alignment among team members.
• Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and regulations.
• Monitor and report on key security metrics and project performance.
• Drive continuous improvement in security processes and practices.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in technical program management, with a focus on security.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Strong understanding of security principles, practices, and technologies.
• Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex security projects.
• Excellent project management skills, including experience with Agile and/or Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CISSP, CISM) are highly desirable.

Additionally, the total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, stock, and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.

All compensation and benefits are subject to the requirements and restrictions set forth in the applicable plan documents and any written agreements between the parties.

The US base salary range for this role is below. $97,600—$182,700 USD
