We have an opportunity for a Senior Information Security Analyst to join us on the exciting and rewarding path we are taking here at Castle Trust Bank. Our Information Security team have a clear mandate to identify, manage and remediate security risk across the organisation, playing a pivotal role in safeguarding our data and infrastructure from cyber-attacks. The role of Senior Information Security Analyst offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of protecting the financial interests of our clients and the integrity of our systems. This is an opportunity to develop and deliver your technical and analytical skills within the Information Security team, working with technology, the business as well as external partners to help drive improvements to innovation and strategy.

You will be responsible for a broad remit, including Security Tooling (deploying, managing and optimising security tools including network monitoring, email security, data loss prevention and others) in addition to the identification, quantification, and response to identified cyber security risks across the organisation. In addition, you will work on Security projects (delivering the Security strategy by developing and improving processes and procedures aligned to industry best practice. We are a small team where collaboration is key, and you will work closely with other members of the Technology function to ensure security measures are aligned with business and strategic objectives.

This role will benefit a hybrid working arrangement, to be based between our Basingstoke office (3 days) and working the rest of the week from home.

What we are looking for in you…

What is important to us is that you have proven cyber security experience working in a cloud environment (Azure, AWS, GCP) and are used to operating in a similar role. You will have demonstrable expertise in the design, development (including scripting and configuration) and continuous improvement of security solutions. Previous experience working with security control frameworks (such as NIST CSF, CIS benchmarks, ISO27001, SOC2) in a regulated environment would be advantageous. In addition, experience in Network Security (e.g. Palo Alto, CISCO Meraki) would be beneficial. You will enjoy problem solving possessing both an analytical and innovative mindset, being self-motivated with the desire to continue to learn, develop and challenge.

What is equally important is that you are highly numerate and business value oriented, with the skills and ability to deliver high standards in terms of attention to detail, time and cost. You will be an effective team player and strong communicator, with the ability to work with colleagues at all levels within the organisation. A specific certification in Information Security (such as CISSP, SSCP, CRISC or CCSP) would be beneficial to support you in this role.
