Job Description:

Job Summary:

The Senior Cyber Security Analyst monitors security events and responds to threats. They provide mentorship and guidance to Junior Cyber Security Analysts and work with all levels of Epiq associates to enforce policy. The Analyst has advanced knowledge of Security Information Event Monitoring and Endpoint Detection and Response tools.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement plans to safeguard digital data.
  • Create and revise processes, incident response plans, playbooks, and standard operating procedures.
  • Research and present threat intelligence reports to stakeholders.
  • Manage escalations from a wide array of security tools.
  • Review violations of security procedures and provide training to prevent recurrence.
  • Investigate and contain suspicious files on devices.
  • Ensure reliability and stability of systems, networks, applications, and data.

Job Requirements:

  • 5+ years work experience in computer systems with specialization in computer security.
  • Understanding of tactics, techniques, and procedures of modern adversaries.
  • Experience with the conduct of an information security investigation and remediation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Must be a self-managed/self-driven individual.
  • CompTIA: Security+, A+, CySA+, CASP; EC-Council: CEH CND; GIAC (SANS): GSEC; and Microsoft SC-200 licenses/certifications.
