Supporting activities in the implementation of a worldwide information security management system (ISMS) according to ISO27001.

Responsibilities / Tasks

About GEA:
At the Headquarters of GEA in Düsseldorf, we're dedicated to pioneering innovative solutions in various industries, driven by a commitment to excellence and global impact.

Overview:
We are looking for an working student to support our team with the implementation of a worldwide information security management system (ISMS) according to ISO27001.

Responsibilities:

  • Systematic preparation of risk analyses
  • Assisting in vendor risk assessments
  • Documentation and oversight of non-conformities
  • Crafting and implementing a standardized glossary for information security terminology
  • Aid in language translations

Your Profile / Qualifications

  • Student in Information Technology/ Computer Science / Economics, or a related technical discipline
  • Initial exposure to information security or IT security, with a strong foundation in IT being advantageous
  • Eagerness to absorb new knowledge and embrace fresh areas of responsibility
  • Demonstrated diligence and commitment to quality work
  • Proficient communication skills in English; proficiency in the local language is a bonus
  • Strong personal drive and analytical capabilities
