About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Azure Security Architect to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our organization's critical assets in the Microsoft Azure cloud. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure cloud solutions that meet the ever-evolving threat landscape and regulatory compliance requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement secure architectures for Azure environments, adhering to Zero Trust principles and best practices.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across IT security, engineering, and business units to understand security needs and translate them into actionable security strategies.
  • Select, configure, and manage Azure security services, including Azure Active Directory, M365 defender, Azure Defender for Cloud, and Azure Sentinel.
  • Conduct security assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend remediation strategies.
  • Define and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures for the Azure environment.
  • Stay up to date on the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and Azure security features.
  • Participate in security incident response activities and provide guidance on mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for security architectures, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • 10-12 years of experience in Cybersecurity and a Minimum 5 Years of Proven experience as a security architect with a focus on cloud security.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure security services and their capabilities.
  • Experience with security best practices, including Zero Trust and Defense in Depth principles.
  • Strong understanding of security threat modeling and risk assessment methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise language for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with infrastructure such as code (IaC) tools like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates is a plus.
  • A valid Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500) certification is preferred.
  • A valid Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert (SC-100) certification is a highly regarded plus.
