Job Summary

We are seeking a manager to lead a dynamic team of analysts, providing essential budget management, operational oversight, and strategic insights. In this role, you will be responsible for offering and implementing recommendations to enhance business and operational processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills with experience collaborating closely with executive leaders. This position will play a pivotal role in implementing projects, from inception through post-implementation, contributing to the overall success and growth of Comcast Cyber Security organization. Job Description

WHAT YOU WILL DO 

  • Lead and oversee major cost-saving initiatives from conception to completion, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration within the team.

  • Evaluate actual outcomes against anticipated performance, providing insightful feedback for continuous improvement and strategic adjustments.

  • Drive data-driven analysis of variable expenditures to uncover patterns, outliers, and underlying causes of discrepancies, while streamlining processes to mitigate future challenges.

  • Champion portfolio governance efforts to proactively identify risks and obstacles to project objectives, ensuring the health and optimization of budgetary resources.

  • Deliver strategic analytical insights on key business metrics, accompanied by actionable recommendations to drive tangible results and returns on investment.

  • Cultivate a culture of accountability within the team, staying abreast of evolving vendor services and pricing models to optimize decision-making.

  • Monitor and quantify the realized benefits of investments, fostering transparency and accountability across departments.

  • Forge inclusive relationships across functional teams, promoting transparency and efficiency to enhance overall organizational performance.

  • Provide invaluable support to executive leaders throughout the budgeting process, fostering trust and collaboration at all levels of the delivery team.

  • Communicate successes and challenges promptly and effectively to relevant stakeholders, ensuring alignment and managing expectations.

  • Exercise sound judgment and discretion in critical matters, demonstrating leadership and integrity in decision-making.

  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives as a valued contributor, leveraging expertise to drive holistic organizational success.

WHAT YOU SHOULD POSSESS 

  • Ability to interpret and present data in a visually compelling format to financial and non-financial audiences

  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to tell a story with numbers

  • Advanced analytic, modeling, and forecasting skills

  • Experience building and maintaining data visualizations using tools like Tableau, PowerBI, and Excel to create interactive dashboards for partners

  • Apply data query tools and sophisticated spreadsheet features to improve financial analysis and automate repetitive tasks

  • Solid understanding of FP&A activities and principles

WHAT WE REQUIRE 

  • Bachelor’s in Business, Data Analytics, or IT related experience leading cloud spend/variable spend reports and business partnering.

  • MBA preferred, but not required.

  • Strong analytical attitude with meticulous attention to detail (Minimum of 5 years of experience in analysis, reporting, modeling and forecasting)

  • Experience managing a team directly or indirectly

  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate and collaborate with employees and management at all levels
