You will join the significant R&D teams in Cambridge that create and improve the products behind the company’s rapid growth. Our software engineers work across a wide variety of projects and with a diverse toolset.

This is a hybrid role, and the expectation would be to work a minimum of 2 days a week in the Cambridge office.

Responsibilities:

  • Working on the continual development of our threat detection model deck.
  • Reviewing and processing cyber threat intelligence to improve our models.
  • Responding to customer queries, prioritising time sensitive and high priority issues.
  • Develop and improve internal tooling and processes.
  • Working with a broad range of stakeholders within Darktrace, including Development, Analyst and customer facing teams.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a Cyber Security-related role
  • Experience using the Darktrace product suite for analysis
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Passion for staying up to date with the latest cybersecurity trends and a willingness to continuously develop your skillset

Desired:

  • Experience creating models/rules for threat hunting
  • Python and/or JavaScript programming experience
  • Experience working with Gitlab
  • Ability to work independently and pro-actively
  • Strong time management and prioritisation skills
  • Strong communication skills
