Devo is a privately held, hyper-growth SaaS company, and we are looking for a Product Marketing Specialist who is passionate about cybersecurity, building strong connections with our buyers and partners, and making a positive impact on enterprises and the community.
This Product Marketing Specialist will work with the product team to develop go-to-market strategies for key capabilities of the Devo Security Data Platform. Deliverables include messaging, content, and sales enablement materials, which will resonate with customers and partners and drive sales motions that accelerate wins.

We are looking for someone who will roll up their sleeves and collaboratively work with product management, sales, customers, partners, and demand generation. You should be technical enough to fully understand our innovative technology and be able to translate our differentiation into concise and compelling narratives and content for our customers, and partners. A positive, can-do attitude is a must while also being able to have fun while disrupting the cybersecurity market.

Responsibilities:
  • Messaging: Develop solution positioning and messaging that uniquely differentiates Devo’s solutions from the competition.
  • Sales and marketing content development: Bring your writing and analytical prowess to deliver compelling long and short-form content, including white papers, presentations, videos, blog posts, and demos.
  • Product launches and campaigns: Lead the market launch of new products and releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan. Collaborate with the demand generation team to meet goals and objectives and support them with campaign assets that deliver results.
  • Communications: Work with sales and marketing communications to broadcast the message to the target market, across the organization, and the industry ecosystem.
  • Market and competitive intelligence: Be the expert on our buyers, how they buy, and their buying criteria; be the expert on our competition and how to beat them.
  • Industry leadership: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, trade shows, webinars, and speaking engagements.

Qualifications:
  • Successful track record working collaboratively with distributed cross-functional teams
  • Forward-thinker, adept at interpreting data analyses and drawing marketing implications from research and customer insight
  • Ability to distill complex technical concepts into clear, compelling stories
  • Proven showcase of authored content and ability to speak confidently to different audiences
  • Strong business understanding and ability to prioritize and make trade-offs based on impact
  • Must be a self-starter who truly enjoys working in a fast-paced software start-up environment

Background:
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience in product marketing, product management, or equivalent experience
  • Security industry experience, preferably marketing SIEM, SOAR, UEBA, and/or EDR to both technical and non-technical personas
  • Bachelor’s degree required
Travel:This position requires about 15 to 20% overnight travel Compensation:  This role will have a general pay range of $81,852.00 to $110,500.00.  The provided base salary range is what we expect to pay a substantially qualified candidate, with final offer being based on the candidate’s relevant experience and skills, as well as location and other factors.  Total compensation for the role will include base salary, as well as a bonus or commission target and an equity grant applicable to the level of the role.
