Optiv is organized in two unique businesses: Technology and Services. Within the Services two lines of business (LoB) exist: Advisory which makes up the consulting and deployment of offerings, and Cyber Operations which is all Optiv’s managed services.  This SVP will work closely with their practice leaders and other internal/external stakeholders and is the general manager of this LoB. This SVP is responsible for coordinating activities related to the identification, enhancement, or creation of all things in a run or managed services state, some examples: Security Operations, Managed Identity, Authorized Support, and Endpoint Management and Response. The role will also require the SVP to be active in the sales cycles to drive and win opportunities and continuously shape what the portfolio of offerings. Additionally, the SVP will be responsible for helping to enhance our client’s overall Optiv experience, as well as focusing on opportunities for delivery efficiency. The individual will work closely with the SVP of Advisory to define the roadmap and strategy of offerings, the CTO to assist with building and owning technology, the CISO to assist with evangelizing offerings, and Sales Leadership to ensure enablement, offering value and client satisfaction. 

How you'll make an impact:

  • Work closely with Practice and Line of Business leadership to fully understand the services portfolio.
  • Close interaction with sales functions (Core Services, O-CISO and Account Managers) to understand the needs of our clients
  • Work with stakeholders (internal/external) to uncover concepts for delivery innovation. Develop processes to help determine how concepts are vetted and executed
  • Support practice areas with the development of new and emerging offerings; or the enhancement of existing offerings. Show the outcomes in business measurable terms of customers consulting the service, using it as an outsourcing partner, or creating hybrid delivery models 
  • Drive new business growth through greater advocacy and reference-ability - Meet with existing and prospective clients to support sales in evangelizing services 
  • Identify partners and competitors in this space in order to develop an engagement plan for each 
  • Align with marketing and other stakeholders to ensure that Emerging offerings are properly communicated and promoted
  • Define and Optimize Customer Lifecycle - Map the customer journey, develop listening points in journey (e.g., usage, satisfaction, etc.), standardize interventions for each point in the journey 
  • Define segmentation of customer base and varying strategies - Work with Marketing to define the ideal customer 
  • Communicate with Technical and Non-Technical customers around security - Understand security concepts and solutions to a deep enough level to communicate in a practical way with stakeholders and customers of various levels of security experience 
  • Act as a mentor for other leaders in the organization
  • Support activities that promote the overall health and profitability of the Advisory Services line of business
  • Travel: 50-80%
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Who we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university in a related field required. Master’s Degree or equivalent in a related field preferred.
  • 15+ years of information security and professional services experience
  • 7+ years leading managed services organizations/business
  • 7+ years leading large globally dispersed teams
  • Experience selling professional services
  • Experience delivering information security consulting engagements
  • Experience developing / enhancing Services offerings
  • Experience leading a Managed Services practice or business
  • Experience managing a professional services P&L
  • Ability to complete assigned tasks or projects with limited supervision
  • Ability to work in demanding environments and accomplish objectives
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to collaborate with and unify various groups in order to execute innovation concepts and achieve company goals
  • Understanding of current regulatory environment and related implications to Fortune 1000 clients
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
