What Research and Development Engineering contributes to Cardinal Health
Engineering is responsible for performing research and analyses to develop design options for components, products, systems and processes.
Research and Development Engineering is responsible for developing and implementing new products through adherence to established design control processes and good engineering and documentation practices.
Responsibilities
- Partner with cybersecurity stakeholders to ensure the security features of the medical devices align with leadership strategy
- Drive execution of cybersecurity tasks
- Create and review projects, protocols, drawings, and documentation
- Assist with discovering and articulating unmet customer needs
- Work on projects both individually and as member of cross functional teams
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
- 2-4 years of experience, preferred
- Software development experience (Embedded or Web based)
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Experience with Java and C programming languages preferred

- Works on projects of moderate scope and complexity
- Identifies possible solutions to a variety of technical problems and takes action to resolve
- Applies judgment within defined parameters

- Work reviewed for sound reasoning and accuracy
Anticipated salary range: $78,100 - $111,500
