About The Position
Our mission is to revolutionize application security and security operations. At Contrast Security, we offer a new approach to code security and application protection, from developers analyzing the first line of code through instrumenting a sophisticated enterprise DevSecOps lifecycle and deploying apps at scale. 
We aim to evolve our runtime security platform for secure application deployment and operations. We are looking for a creative, entrepreneurial, and experienced product leader to drive this area. As Director of PM for AppSec Operations, you will lead a team to define, iterate, and deliver capabilities that allow us to address the application security needs of SecOps and SOC teams. You will bring a strong understanding of application operations and demonstrate the ability to incubate a new product area, establish product market fit, and ultimately deliver revenue. 
This highly visible, strategic, and cross-functional role requires a good understanding of the convergence between application security and operations. You will work closely with our customers and prospects to understand their workflows, identify strategic market opportunities and key partnerships, and deeply study the competition. You will synthesize these inputs to develop an impactful roadmap and work with your engineering team to prototype and deliver a pipeline of capabilities.
We are looking for a highly motivated candidate with a solid mix of business, technical, and organizational skills and the ability to operate in a matrixed cross-functional environment. This is a good opportunity for candidates with a background in EDR, XDR, SecOps, CloudOps, and related areas.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end strategy for our AppSec Operations capabilities
  • Drive all aspects of the product, from ideation to GTM
  • Own the complete product lifecycle, from strategy to user stories, product requirements, and definition of the product experience 
  • Develop a deep understanding of the personas and operating models in the space
  • Collaborate closely with our GTM teams
  • Establish and track clear metrics and KPIs 
  • Build and nurture a world-class team

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of product management experience, ideally in areas related to security operations
  • Experience in working directly with customers and technical partners
  • Strong prototyping skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experienced at working in highly cross-functional environments
  • Equally comfortable presenting to executives and getting into the details with engineers
  • Technical degree, MBA preferred

What We Offer
Salary and Other CompensationThis position's standard base pay range is $180,000 - $240,000 annually. This position is also eligible for a VCP and equity package subject to the terms of the Company’s applicable plans. When determining a candidate’s compensation, we consider several factors: geography, skill set, experience, job scope, and current market data.
