🔍What will you do

  • Provide first-line technical support to staff for hardware and software issues on a shorter work contract.
  • Procurement of hardware and software.
  • Assist with the installation and configuration of new hardware and software.
  • Perform regular maintenance on systems, including updates and backups.
  • Monitor systems to ensure that they are running efficiently and identify and resolve any issues.
  • Manage user accounts and permissions.
  • Maintain and update documentation of IT systems and procedures.
  • Administration of cloud services.
  • Perform security audits, and ensure compliance with company policies.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in or a completed technical program at a college or university. 

  • Basic knowledge of networking, operating systems, and software applications.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fluent English.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Flexible schedule, able to work part-time hours.

  • Experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems, Linux.

  • Experience with Google Workspace.
