Information Security Analyst 

K2United is looking for an internally driven, cybersecurity junkie who enjoys the challenges of securing information systems. The ideal individual has hands-on experience with cloud-based security tools and geeks out talking about the cybersecurity framework. Our core products serve 50K users per day and we’re growing.  


About you: 

  • 2+  years of intermediate to advanced experience with public cloud computing/hosting (preferably Microsoft Azure and/or AWS).
  • Deep understanding of cybersecurity governance, risk, and compliance concepts. 
  • Demonstrated experience managing security monitoring tools, reviewing findings, and properly assessing risk. 
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for thorough follow-through on all assigned tasks. 


Your impact: 

  • M365 Security Guardian – Manages the security controls and tools inside the Microsoft 365 Security Center, including Microsoft Sentinel and Microsoft Defender. 
  • Cloud Infrastructure Security Overwatch – Manages the security controls and tools inside the AWS and Azure environments. 
  • Security Analysis – Administers our suite of cybersecurity tools to ensure compliance and vulnerability management for our systems and web applications. 
  • Cyber Security Policy Librarian – Keeper of K2United security policies and practices stored in Atlassian Confluence. 
  • HX Security Liaison – Supports the Human Experience (HX) team in up-leveling the security knowledge of our employees.

Salary: $73,000+

Requirements

Work Environment: This job operates in a well-lit and temperature-controlled office environment with the use of standard office equipment such as phones and computers.
