Location: This is a remote position and we are considering candidates from any major hub in North America

We are seeking a forward-thinking Community Manager to join our dynamic team. If you are a tech-savvy professional with experience building customer communities and user groups, social media, PR, and promotional events, we would love to meet you.

**Position Overview:**

The ideal Community Manager will possess exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to create engaging and unique content. Being a ‘people person’ with excellent customer empathy is crucial. You should also have the capacity to moderate community conversations effectively. Ultimately, you will be the face and voice of our brand, managing all Community communication effortlessly.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Collaborate with Product Management, Support, Marketing, and Communications to deliver engaging events, articles, and videos
  • Create systems in which customers receive timely responses to questions and ideas
  • Initiate customer research regularly to discover strengths and gaps
  • Monitor and report on feedback and online reviews
  • Liaise with Development and Sales departments to stay informed about new features and products
  • Build relationships with customers, potential customers, and industry professionals
  • Stay updated on trends in Digital Customer Experience and Community Management

**Minimum Requirements:**

  • 5+ years of experience as a community manager
  • Proven experience launching community initiatives (e.g., building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series, and writing an email newsletter)
  • Ability to identify and utilize relevant community metrics (e.g., repeat attendance at events)
  • 2+ years of experience in event management and event planning
  • 2+ years of experience with content management and identification (i.e., identifying gaps in content)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • 2+ years of experience in user research, including customer interviews, user journey mapping, and creating user personas
  • Hands-on experience with brand management through social media
  • Ability to monitor website traffic and customer engagement through metrics and interpret those metrics

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Expertise in community administration and building pages
  • Strong design instincts
  • Experience in Cyber Security or SaaS start-ups
  • BSc degree in Marketing or a relevant field
  • CCXP

 

Salary range guidance for this position is:   $114,500 -$154,500
