Head of Product Security (Business team)

THE ROLE & THE TEAM

As the Head of ProdSec B2B, you'll champion security across Zalando's B2B offerings, like Logistics, Partner Services and ZEOS, by leading a security team that bridges the gap between engineering, business, and security. Your mission will be to ensure a holistic security-by-design approach, drive a security vision for B2B, and collaboratively craft the information security roadmap with B2B. We're looking for an experienced leader to join our Product Security leadership team and significantly influence Zalando's overall security posture.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)
 

• Collaborate with Zalando's leaders across software engineering and product management, to define the future of B2B security infrastructure and product strategy.

• Foster collaboration with business leaders, engineers and experts, to identify and mitigate security risks, ensuring continuous improvement of Zalando's B2B security posture.

• Develop a clear vision and roadmap for B2B security, securing resources as well as stakeholder buy-in for new initiatives aligned with the overall information security strategy.

• Lead by example and cultivate a high-performing team environment, use strong communication skills to build trust and collaboration, while implementing operational excellence by defining and streamlining processes for efficiency in large-scale projects.

• Leverage your deep security expertise to mentor colleagues, and apply best practices in product development to deliver secure B2B solutions that meet customer needs.

• You have extensive experience driving security roadmaps and securing stakeholder buy-in across large organisations.

• You show a deep understanding of security industry trends, OT security, logistics, as well as expertise in scaling security practices for large-scale environments.

• You possess excellent communication skills to lead and inspire teams, fostering collaboration on security initiatives across the organisation.

• You have a solid understanding of cloud security, containerisation, and secure development practices, with the ability to collaborate with software engineers and business leaders.

• You are an inspiring leader with a strategic mindset, setting ambitious goals while prioritising customer needs.

• You are skilled in measuring security success and maturity, identifying gaps in security posture, and developing cohesive strategies and roadmaps.
