Your new role:

DCA are seeking a well-experienced DevSecOps engineer, with direct hands-on experience building, securing and automating services to support functions better, and improve the security and reliability of our systems.

Requirements

The key tasks in your new and exciting role with us:

• Author and manage Azure DevOps pipelines for both Infrastructure and Application code
• Act as a 3rd line support escalation path for platform-specific issues
• Security-first mindset when implementing solutions
• Logical problem diagnosis and resolution, with ability to create documentation for consumption at both high and low-level

Hopefully a description of you and your experience:

• Extensive experience of working Cloud-based technologies (ideally Azure)
• Administrator-level certificate advantageous (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-400)
• Extensive experience with authoring and management of Terraform
• Extensive experience working with CI/CD tooling, and a strong understanding of the process
• Strong knowledge of containerisation technologies (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker)
• Strong knowledge of the Azure DevOps platform, including authoring and managing YAML pipelines (for both applications and infrastructure as code)
• Strong understanding of different branching & release strategies, and experience using tooling to enable this (e.g., Git)
• Experience using code quality and security tooling (e.g., SonarCloud, Checkmarx, OWASP ZAP)
• Experience using platform-level security and monitoring tooling (e.g., Defender for Cloud, Azure Sentinel, Application Insights, New Relic)
• Understanding of common programming languages, (e.g., C#, NodeJS, Go, Swift etc.) and how they interact with resources in a cloud environment
• Understanding of common automated testing solutions (e.g., JMeter, Serenity, Selenium , Appium), and implementing within the CI/CD process
• Strong interest in quality, technical excellence, and results
• Ability to work as part of a team, or as an individual, on multiple projects at once
