Join Our Team as a Security Administration Specialist II
The Business Analyst supports projects and liaises with BBH Systems and business teams on new implementations and enhancements to existing systems. This position communicates change documentation to stakeholders, works across departments to set up necessary processes to validate and maintain data, and coordinates requests from users to BBH Systems. Monitors project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions. This position is critical to IM as it expands into the global market place and multi-distribution channels

Responsibilities
 

Business Process & Systems Excellence

  • Provide analysis on expanding or replacing the existing infrastructure to support the Global and Domestic Equity products including the automation of existing processes to support new products - Identify opportunities to improve processes and procedures to reduce infrastructure & operational costs, achieve greater scalability, and flexibility to support future endeavors such as ways to streamline the report reconciliation and generation process to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Conduct interviews and perform analyses to support the development of business cases for projects. - Support project managers and subject matter experts in the development of business requirements for new systems implementations and enhancements to existing systems.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and regression testing during upgrades and new rollouts. - Support leaders within various functional groups within IM and other areas of the Bank such as InServ, Risk, Compliance, Treasury, and Systems as we evaluate solutions on the impact of regulatory changes, new products, and different technologies such as evaluating new trading systems, accounting platforms, performance tools, and establish best practices to improve workflow.
  • Work with vendors to integrate new products into our existing infrastructure such as exploring the feasibility of integrating new tools into the existing workflow tools.

Front Office Support

  • Provide ongoing support to the Front Office on operational and systems issues and requests.
  • Help to resolve issues through problem escalation and on-call resourcing.
  • Conduct preliminary investigations related to all project requests, to understand needs and requirements.

Business Partnership -

  • Maintain lines of communication to monitor and improve business unit satisfaction with BBH Systems team.
  • Ability to communicate with diverse groups of people inside and outside of the IM organization
  • Serve as a point of contact for business units into Systems and act as a conduit between the two organizations.
  • Support business unit expectations and resolve issues, as needed

Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience -1-3 years of relevant work experience
  • Computer Sciences, Engineering, or similar background, a plus
  • Knowledge of Portfolio Accounting, Institutional Wealth Management business, and Fixed Income & Equity Trading and related systems a plus
  • Analytical, with strong organization skills and attention to detail - Excellent written communication skills -Ability to adapt to changes in the market, organization and client needs -Ability to remain focused amidst ambiguity or prioritization
  • Strong relationship management communication skills
  • Ability to map processes and identify opportunities for improvement -Knowledge of information technology and related application controls
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel
