Description


When you join us, you will be part of a group of engineers committed to advancing compiler CPU technology. Your responsibilities will include working closely with security, silicon and software architects designing compiler features that advance security on all Apple platforms. You will collaboratively analyze security vulnerabilities and explore new compiler techniques to mitigate and prevent them at reasonable cost. In this environment you will continuously apply and grow your expertise, learn new technologies, and engage in projects spanning hardware and software teams. Your work will impact all classical applications used by everyday users, countless customers, and give raise to new applications and technologies.

Minimum Qualifications


  • Strong C and C++ programming expertise
  • Knowledge of common data structures like linked lists, sets, maps, and graphs
  • Experience with common security vulnerabilities classes and mitigations
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively


Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience working with LLVM or other open source project
  • Good understanding of CPU architecture and micro-architecture, familiarity with ARM
  • Hands-on experience with compiler backend development and/or optimizations


Pay & Benefits


  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $199,800 and $300,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
