Job Title - Security Engineer

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Security Engineer, your role is pivotal in maintaining our organization’s security posture. Your expertise in data loss prevention (DLP) and endpoint detection and response (EDR) will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security measures.

As a(n) Security Engineer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact when you:

• Oversee all DLP and EDR components and projects to ensure effective protections are in place.
• Maintain strong relationships with DLP and EDR vendors.
• Assist in developing roadmaps for the DLP and EDR programs.
• Update and maintain DLP and EDR policies to meet evolving security requirements.
• Test and deploy new agent versions and product capabilities.
• Upgrade, troubleshoot and maintain DLP infrastructure.

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND five (5) years of proven experience in a cybersecurity systems administration role technology in a private, public, government or military environment.

OR

• High School Diploma/GED AND nine (9) years of proven experience in a cybersecurity systems administration role technology in a private, public, government or military environment.

AND

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

• 3 years of experience managing data loss prevention (DLP) solutions or endpoint detection and response solutions.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Additional technical experience with the following technologies:
  • Microsoft Windows 11 and MacOS desktop environments
  • Microsoft Windows and Linux Server
  • CrowdStrike Falcon
  • Forcepoint DLP
  • Microsoft Purview
  • AWS and/or Azure Cloud
• Forcepoint Certified Systems Engineer (FCSE)
• Crowdstrike Certified Falcon Administrator (CCFA)
• Certified Microsoft Information Protection and Compliance administrator (SC-400)
