Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, is seeking an Systems Security Engineer to work onsite in Largo, FL.

In the Strategic Solutions Protected Communication Systems (PCS) Systems Engineering department, our focus lies in designing, integrating, and optimizing protected communications systems to fulfill mission objectives. We play a crucial role as a major contributor to the Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2) initiative, which aims to connect the battlespace for quicker and more intelligent decision-making processes. Our efforts not only support current operational needs but also contribute to shaping the future through new business initiatives and the development and execution of technology roadmaps. What You Will Do
    • Support Protected Communications cybersecurity tasking including the application of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) for NC3 systems
    • Assist with implementation of System Security Engineer (SSE) solutions into RTX products
    • Support system development plans, task implementation, risk identification and mitigation plans
    • Assist the integration and test teams with Cybersecurity test events and documentations

Qualifications You Must Have
    • Experience including at least one of the following: embedded SW design or electrical engineering or systems engineering design experience
    • Experience generating security requirements for program protection, design and architecture artifacts, plans, and/or policies
    • Experience with applying RMF to embedded systems
    • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience
    • ACTIVE SECRET Security Clearance REQUIRED
    • Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date
    • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

    • Experience in design, development, and fielding of SSE systems
    • Attack threat modeling / Critical Program Information Assessments

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
