Job Description

IntegriChain is looking for a Security Analyst, with a passion for conducting technical analysis for events. This includes immediate containment, investigation, and management of remediation actions, as well as enhancing defenses with the new knowledge acquired throughout the response process.

What this role entails:   

• Monitor and analyze traffic and events/alerts and advise on remediation actions.
• Review and assess impact and remediation actions for incidents.
• Investigate intrusion attempts and perform analysis of exploits by correlating various sources and determining which system or data set is affected.
• Follow standard operating procedures for detecting, classifying, and reporting incidents.
• Identifying possible security threats and determining the best security measures
• Ensure technical implementation and business processes are aligned
• Designing, implementing, and maintaining security protocols, policies, plans, and systems to cover all possible security threats.
• Provide complex technical advice, recommendations, and consultancy on networks, infrastructure, products, and services supplied
• Running risk assessment and security tests and designing countermeasures to eliminate as many potential risks as possible.
• Suggesting improvements to existing security systems.
• Remaining up to date with the latest security systems, tools, trends, and technology.
• Training staff to recognize and defend against security breaches and risks.
• Plan, implement, manage, monitor, and upgrade cybersecurity measures to protect enterprise data and infrastructure.
• Analyses all the attacks and comes up with remedial attack analysis
• Conduct detailed analysis of incidents and create reports and dashboards
• Provide or assist with implementation documentation

Qualifications

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience as an information security analyst or a similar role
• Certified in one or more of the following: CEH, CompTIA Security+, etc.
• Proficient in security tools and technologies, such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, VPN, etc.
• Experience with penetration testing and vulnerability scanning
• Ability to identify and mitigate security threats and risks
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

Education Qualifications

• Required Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or related field.
