Position Title: Cybersecurity Engineer
Location: Remote - LATAM
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, specifically with Microsoft 365, Azure, Azure Defender, Python, and ZScaler. This mid-level position requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills who will initially be responsible for setting up the cybersecurity environment for Lean Tech.
What you will be doing:

• Lead the configuration and management of endpoint security solutions using Microsoft Defender, Intune, and Azure Defender. 
• Implement and manage security measures for Microsoft 365, Azure environments, and ZScaler.
• Develop and maintain security scripts using Python, and integrate security controls into overall architecture.
• Investigate and resolve security incidents, conduct regular assessments, and enhance security protocols.
• Monitor and analyze security alerts and intelligence feeds, respond to email- related threats, and perform hands-on incident response activities.
• Provide guidance and training on endpoint security procedures, conduct security awareness sessions, and collaborate with Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs).

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information
• Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Over 3 years of cybersecurity experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Azure, with experience in Azure Defender.
• Basic knowledge of Python for security scripting and expertise in ZScaler
• configuration and management.
• Familiarity with endpoint security systems such as Microsoft Defender EDR,
• Netskope, Proofpoint, Tenable, Trend Micro, and Intune.
• Strong understanding of endpoint security concepts, vulnerability scanning, and
• system hardening.
• Demonstrated proficiency in deploying and managing a variety of security
• technologies, including network firewalls, VPN, NAC, EDR, MDR, and SIEM.
• Hands-on experience in incident management, including critical incident
• response and security event handling.
• Excellent communication skills, high energy, and the ability to work well in a
• dynamic team environment.

Nice to Have Skills: 

• Experience with Arctic Wolf SIEM
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH).

 Qualifications  

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH) are a plus.
