Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Digital Forensic Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital forensics, with a focus on investigating security incidents, analyzing digital evidence, and providing expert testimony when required.

The Digital Forensic Analyst will be responsible for:

  • Conducting forensic examinations on a variety of digital devices, including computers, servers and cloud services such as Microsoft 365.
  • Collecting, preserving, and analyzing digital evidence in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
  • Creating timelines of digital activities to establish a chronological sequence of events related to a security incident or forensic investigation.
  • Utilizing forensic tools and techniques to recover deleted, hidden, or encrypted data.
  • Documenting findings and preparing comprehensive forensic reports detailing analysis methods, results, and conclusions.
  • Collaborate with the SOC team responding to security incidents in a timely manner, containing the threat, and conducting forensic analysis to determine the extent of the breach and the actions taken by attackers.
  • Assisting in developing and implementing policies and procedures related to digital forensic investigations and incident response.
  • Collaborating InfoSec Management (CISO, DPO) and cross-functional teams including IT, Legal to support investigations and legal proceedings.
  • Staying current with emerging trends, tools, and techniques in digital forensics and cybersecurity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Digital Forensics, Information Security, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital forensics, incident response, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of file systems, operating systems, network protocols, and cybersecurity principles.
  • Experience with data recovery techniques, memory forensics, and malware analysis.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly and concisely.
