About the role: 

As an IT Security Manager with FIS, your skills will be put to the test on the front lines of cyber-security. Information security is at the heart of fintech and you’ll help protect and secure highly-sensitive financial data for customers around the world. 

About the team:  

The Control Testing and Monitoring team, within Legal, Compliance, and Corporate Affairs, is responsible for completing risk assessments across many of the products, services, and enterprise tools. This team is on the cutting edge of cybersecurity within the largest FinTech in the world!

What you will be doing: 

  • Manages Information Security staff in identifying, developing, implementing, and maintaining industry best practices, FIS policy, and PCI management practices to reduce customer IT risks, respond to related incidents, and limit exposure to liability to ensure reduced financial loss.

  • Communicates effectively with clients, employees, and senior management to address complex information security issues.

  • Review risk assessment documentation created by team members and peers to provide constructive feedback.

  • Coordinates and implements information security assessment operations and activities, to ensure protection of information assets while ensuring optimal use of personnel and equipment.

  • Collaborates with internal clients to establish client confidence in FIS’s information security risk assessment program. Works with business teams to ensure information security initiatives are understood and implemented.

  • Provides technical guidance, support, and cross-training to other team members within the Assurance and Testing,  Control Testing Team.

What you will need: 

  • Minimum 5+ years of supervisory/management experience

  • Understanding of the regulatory and audit requirements with respect to information security and privacy issues

  • Extensive knowledge of networks technologies (protocols, design concepts, access control), design, and engineering

  • Extensive knowledge of security technologies (encryption, data protection, design, privilege access, etc.)

  • Knowledge of financial services industry

  • A bachelor's in computer science or a related field, or the equivalent experience. 

Added bonus if you have: 

  • Any industry-related certifications, particularly CISSP or CISA.

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $117,620.00 - $197,580.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
