Our goal is to help our customers achieve better, long-term financial outcomes.In 2024, we’ll be launching across the EU, following our successful launch in Sweden and our new office launching in Budapest.  We’ll also be transforming our product, developing new features and introducing new products. In the UK, we now have over 1.6m registered users, offering a range of products like the Freetrade Pension, a stocks and shares ISA, and our premium plan, Freetrade Plus. 

The main focus would be to monitor and respond to security incidents, assesses vulnerabilities, and ensure data protection is being adhered to. This role would ensure we have the right controls and systems in place to allow all employees to safely carry out their duties whilst ensuring Freetrades assets are protected. This includes, but not limited to employee and customer data. 

You will...

  • Ensure DLP practices are correctly operating to protect employee and customer data
  • Manage the endpoint security to safeguard employee devices
  • Utilize Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems to identify and respond to security incidents.
  • Continuously monitor security systems and networks for unusual activities and potential threats
  • Ensure that security controls are properly implemented and functioning as intended.
  • Assess the risk associated with identified vulnerabilities and prioritise remediation efforts 
  • Manage all security tools and technologies to automate security testing and monitoring

You have...

  • Understanding of:
    • Endpoint security of MacOS
    • DLP tools/system administration
    • Network security
    • Security tools such as SIEM, WAF and Identity management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and address security threats.
  • Ability to communicate complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • 3-5 Years hands-on experience in security operations, incident response, and threat analysis.
