Description

You will join the Information Security team at Xeneta as a Cybersecurity Analyst. Our IT & Security team is making sure the whole organization is enabled with equipment and tools to do their work effectively and securely.
Location:
Hybrid or fully remote in Norway, Germany or UK. Some travel will be required because we have offices in Norway (Oslo), Germany (Hamburg), US (Jersey City) and UK (London).

What you will be doing

You will be responsible for working on support, oversight & business enablement on information security aspects internally as well as with our customers. You will most closely work with IT, Software Development teams, but you will also be in contact with the whole organization to promote and implement the best information security practices.
  • You will complete security questionnaires from potential and existing customers in collaboration with sales team.
  • You will manage, analyze, and prioritize vulnerabilities and risks reported from external vendors as well as internal SIEM solutions.
  • You will document, evolve, and promote policies and processes that are relevant for ISO27001, SOC2, GDPR and similar. 
  • You will perform, maintain, and improve information security awareness presentations, trainings, and drills for the whole organization.
  • You will participate in and potentially lead security incident response drills.
  • You will perform information security evaluations of the existing and potential vendors and partners.

Your profile and experience

The professional skills and competencies we are looking for:
  • You have in-depth knowledge about cybersecurity as applied to cloud-native businesses.
  • You know your way around security operations analysis, detections and response tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR).
  • You have worked with with security vendor evaluations & questionnaires.
  • You have experience with vulnerability reporting, analysis, and management.
  • Experience and good knowledge of ISO 27001 and other cybersecurity standards and frameworks.
  • Nice to have: 
    • Previous experience of working with a globally distributed team.
    • Security certifications (CISSP or similar).
    • Familiarity with SOC2 and GDPR.

If you are not already authorized to work in Norway or Germany, a Bachelor's or a Master's in a relevant field is necessary. We are currently unable to sponsor UK visa.
