Position Summary:

As a part of Hillenbrand’s global Cybersecurity team, the Sr. Identity and Access Management Developer/Engineer will be focused on executing our IAM strategy globally along with owning the Saviynt platform management. A successful candidate for this position will have broad knowledge of identity lifecycle, authentication and authorization concepts and developing integrations with Saviynt.

Work You’ll Do:

  • Establish and maintain processes and procedures for our IAM program.

  • Engage and collaborate with various IT and business teams in developing interfaces and integrating the account lifecycle management into Saviynt.

  • Acts as a subject matter expert of Saviynt/IAM program and provide level2/3 support, consult with various technical teams in integrations and account lifecycle management design.

  • Own the Saviynt platform and ensure best practices are followed, work with the vendor as needed to maintain the platform.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an IAM developer, architect or in a similar role

  • 7+ years of cybersecurity experience including 3+ years of hands-on experience implementing and managing IAM solutions in complex environments.

  • Experience in development and administration of Saviynt IAM platform.

  • Experience with implementing authentication protocols, SSO technologies, AD/Azure AD

  • Expert in programming and scripting languages such as Python and PowerShell for developing IAM connectors and automation scripts.

  • Experience applying identity and access management technical principles, practices, and procedures to multiple applications, both on-prem and SaaS.

  • Familiarity with cloud-based IAM solutions and their integration with on-premises systems.

  •  Understanding of cybersecurity principles and the ability to apply security controls and measures within IAM systems.

  • Balances clear strategic thinking and accountability in execution to deliver results.

  • Able to operate successfully and be effective in a high change environment and comfortable dealing with a certain amount of ambiguity.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of general or ‘hands-on’ information technology experience (Network Engineer, System Admin, Database Admin, Programmer, etc.).

  • Knowledge and understanding of diverse platforms and operating systems, including current and emerging technologies.

  • Expert knowledge of authentication and authorization standards (e.g. SAML, OAUTH, NTLM, LDAP, Kerberos, PKI, XACML, etc.)

  • Working knowledge of common information security and technology concepts, risks and best practices.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills including the ability to create organized and articulate reports and presentations from underlying data that are easily understood by teammates and Business Partners.

  • Ability to take ownership of an initiative/issue through completion.

  • Security, technology, and/or audit/compliance related certifications are a plus.
