A division of Harris, Globys is seeking an intern to provide additional coverage for our governance, audit, and compliance work. We are seeking a highly motivated and talented cybersecurity intern/co-op to join our growing team. This individual will have the opportunity to work on real-world projects a, gain hands-on experience in network and application security, and be exposed to penetration testing. This is an intern position for 4-8 months starting May, 2024.

What your impact will be:

  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of network security controls
  • Collaborate with the cybersecurity team in conducting application security assessments
  • Participate in vulnerability scans and penetration testing activities
  • Analyze and research emerging threats and recommend solutions for mitigation
  • Support the development and implementation of security policies and procedures

What we are looking for:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in cybersecurity, computer science, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of network and application security concepts
  • Familiarity with security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability scanners
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
