What you'll be doing

As a member of the US Security Services team, you’ll work on a fast-paced information security team that protects our bank from cyber threats.

The US Region Cyber Operations and Resilience (COR) Consultant is responsible for execution of CIBC’s Security functions as it relates to US Region Cyber Operations and Resilience controls.  The US Region Cyber Operations and Resilience Consultant will be directly responsible for multiple security products that achieve critical security objectives.

How you'll succeed

• Implement the COR Security Vison and Roadmap

• Agile Team Member – Participate in planning events, team stand-ups, and team sprint planning

• SOC Service Consultant – work with enterprise SOC and service owners to implement security event telemetry including security event logging, SIEM, SOAR, and Threat Intelligence

• Red Team Testing – plan Red Team test scenarios and track follow-up findings

• Penetration Testing – Schedule penetration tests per security policy

• Vulnerability Management – liaison and response for remediating vulnerabilities identified across infrastructure and applications within vulnerability threshold SLA timelines

• Metrics - Develop and report on US COR Security Service metrics and KPIs

• Incident and Threat Response – CSIM, lead investigations to find, triage, and contain threats

• Fusion – research current threats and participate in daily Fusion stand-ups providing US Region to discuss external threat levels
