The opportunity

EY Trinidad is currently recruiting for cybersecurity professionals. The role will be based in Trinidad working with the regional Caribbean cybersecurity team. Our experienced staff support EY teams in executing consulting engagements for clients and contribute to business development activities. They work with team leads to provide innovative technical and non-technical insights for clients, learn methods and practices to support the EY team and contribute to thought leadership. These professionals also actively improve operational effectiveness on projects and internal initiatives, in line with EY’s commitment to quality.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Support EY teams in evaluating and developing client Cybersecurity Management programs including technology controls, process controls, and governance, risk and compliance elements.
  • Aid with security risk and controls assessments to evaluate and analyze threat, vulnerability, impact, risk and security issues to Business.
  • Lead and support teams on the delivery of vulnerability assessment and penetration testing services for clients.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of IT reviews related to leading IT standards and frameworks (ITIL, COBIT, ISO, etc.)
  • Demonstrate technical, risk capabilities and professional knowledge
  • Provide clear, complete, concise, and high-quality documentation around all deliverables
  • Remain current on new developments in consulting services capabilities and industry knowledge
  • Maintain a strong client focus, be responsive to client requests, and develop/maintain productive working relationships with client personnel

To qualify for the role, you must have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a related role will be considered an asset
  • Knowledge in Cyber Security frameworks, security management processes for Business, and Networks and Operating Systems architecture
  • Professional certification in cybersecurity such as Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Information System Security Certified Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), GIAC Penetration Tester Certification (GPEN)
  • Certifications in the fields of network administration (e.g., CCNA), operating system administration (e.g., Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) and enterprise architecture will be considered an asset)

  • Flexibility to work remotely and work in excess of standard hours when necessary
  • Experience with security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001/2, PCI DSS, NIST 800-53, NIST CSF and the cybersecurity laws and regulations
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas:
    •  Vulnerability assessment and penetration testing
    •  IT and cybersecurity policies, standards, procedures and controls
    • Cybersecurity and IT architectures (e.g. cloud security architect, security architect)
    • Cybersecurity organization design and implementation
    • Cybersecurity and risk management solution design and implementation (e.g. SNOW IRM, Archer GRC, RiskLens, Azure Security Center, etc.)
