Responsibilities:

Klüber Lubrication GmbH is in search for a dynamic IT Cloud Security Engineer for our Global IT Division to enhance our security posture and foster technological innovation. Our IT division is positioned as the global IT Service provider operated in five continents across various sectors, providing advanced IT services and solutions.

As an IT Cloud Security Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in implementing and validating security controls, supporting and monitoring the identity- and access-management, providing security consulting, and improving the overall security infrastructure. Your solid expertise in Microsoft Azure and Cloud Security will be crucial in protecting our cloud platforms and solutions.

Your Impact:

• Security Implementation: Implement and lead the validation of appropriate security controls to mitigate and limit attack paths between on-prem and cloud platforms, while enhancing the overall security posture of the Azure platform by identifying and remediating vulnerabilities using a variety of security tools.

• Security Consulting: Provide security consulting and cross-functional support to technology teams enabling cloud solutions starting at the design phase, while acting as a technical security resource with expertise in Azure, Entra ID, M365, and security best practices.

• Threat Monitoring and Response: Support our SOC-Team by analyzing threats and events to ensure the protection of data, apps, containers, infrastructure, and networks, while identifying security gaps and proposing operational enhancements

Qualifications:

• Practical and operational experience within Azure Cloud Security and M365

• Strong foundation in Microsoft Azure security policies, configurations, IAM, and Privilege Access Management.

• Experience in designing, implementing, and supporting Microsoft Azure and M365 security infrastructure, and managing Azure resources.

• Skilled in debugging, troubleshooting, remediating secure design issues, and automating scalable security practices.

Skills Needed for Success in this role:

• Technical Aptitude: You are proficient with IT security tools (Sentinel SIEM, Defender for Cloud, EDR, NDR, IDS/IPS), experienced in KQL and PowerShell, knowledgeable in Entra ID, and either certified or willing to get certified in Microsoft Azure Security. In addition, you have solid understanding of ARM (Biceps and Terraform) to support automation initiatives driven by the operation teams.

• Project Experience: You are skilled in project processes with strong etiquette, being an open communicator, collaborative, and reliable.

• Consultative: You demonstrate partnership by offering expertise, taking responsibility, creating bridges, and advising professionally.

• Communication: You are capable of building relationships by combining high technical skill with social intelligence and translating complex concepts into simple terms for key stakeholders.

• Trustworthy: You maintain a high level of working autonomy and responsibility for security, with a detail-oriented, critical thinking approach that challenges the status quo.
