Overview: NIQ is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team. This role requires a broad knowledge of cybersecurity engineering, including cloud security, network security, endpoint security, email security, and log management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in establishing, managing, and maintaining department KPIs and KRIs, as well as hands-on implementation experience across various cybersecurity domains.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies and solutions.
• Establish, manage, and maintain department KPIs and KRIs to ensure effective performance and risk management.
• Create and deliver PowerPoint presentations for department updates and business cases.
• Identify and communicate cyber risks, especially when control gaps are present.
• Innovate solutions by applying advanced cybersecurity concepts and methodologies.
• Plan and complete assignments, resolving conflicts independently.
• Champion and set standards for agile processes.
• Provide direction, coaching, and development to colleagues.
• Strive to reduce complexity and create clarity in cybersecurity processes.
• Work autonomously to design technical solutions and identify risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• 7-10 years of technical experience in cybersecurity engineering.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, etc.
• Demonstrated mastery in cybersecurity concepts and hands-on implementation.
• Ability to understand and communicate cyber risks effectively.
• Strong presentation skills and the ability to create impactful PowerPoint presentations.
• Experience in designing technical solutions and working autonomously.

Preferred Skills:

• Broad knowledge of various cybersecurity domains.
• Experience with cloud security, network security, endpoint security, email security, and log management.
• Ability to direct and develop team members.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
