We are looking to add an Information Security Analyst to join our Information Technology team in Waukee, IA. Candidates thrive in our environment when they harness their collaborative mindset, strong interpersonal communication skills, and a love of learning.

 

Duties:

  • Ensure that Holmes Murphy's Identity & Access Management services are designed to be compliant with security and privacy standards and other industry standards and practices.
  • Provides support and coordination across the systems to ensure identity and access management technologies are integrated and meeting the appropriate policy requirements.
  • Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure seamless integration of IAM products with existing systems and applications.
  • Configure and manage authentication mechanisms, such as single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and federated identity management.
  • Ability to handle the entire lifecycle of digital identities, including onboarding, offboarding and role changes.
  • Conduct regular provisioning reviews and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal security policies.
  • Evaluate business impact and risk exposure based on the level of access granted and make recommendations where improvements should be made.
  • Participate in a culture of continuous learning, skill development, and collaboration within the Information Security Team.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Extensive knowledge of security products such as intrusion prevention systems, data loss prevention (DLP), anti-virus and firewalls and defense in depth.
  • A working knowledge of security standards Such as NIST 800, HIPAA and SOC standards
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to present to executive leadership.
  • Strong documentation and technical documentation skills.
  • The ability to work collaboratively on a dynamic team and effectively solve problems.
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality.

 

Qualifications:

  • AAS degree in Computer Science or Information Security or applicable certifications.
  • 2 years of experience in Information Security
  • 2 years of experience gathering requirements and demonstrating successful delivery
  • 1+ years of experience administering IAM systems, access controls, security, and risk management, as well as a security governance framework at scale.
  • Technical aptitude
  • Understanding of HIPAA, PCI, ISO and/or NIST
