Cyberspace Security Cooperation Mission Lead

The Opportunity: 

As a cyber security cooperation mission lead, you understand the necessity of advancing Allies and partners capabilities, the need for cyber operators to work interoperability and value of cyberspace operations. At Booz Allen, you can blend your collaborative partnering and cyberspace operations expertise to create recommend technology solutions to fill gaps in capability and leverage the DoD's resources to bring support to our Allies and partner nations in the European theater. We’re looking for a seasoned professional who understands cybersecurity and the cyber defense mission and can interface with Allies and partners as well as US military leaders to support capabilities and capacity building program planning and execution. A specialist like you will apply your experience with network operations center (NOC) and cyberspace operations centers (CyOC), deployable cyber defense teams and impact our nation’s and Alliance's readiness.   

 

In this role, you’ll lead a team of professionals as they review, assess, plan, and synchronize to mature cyberspace capabilities of theater Allies and partners to evaluate potential weaknesses as well as the effectiveness of mitigations for cybersecurity solutions. You may support their leveraging cyberspace operations systems to aggregate threat feeds that inform briefings for senior leadership in Cyber Commands or Directorates.    

 

This is an opportunity to use your experience and expertise and step in to advise and inform operators and senior leadership and commanders on program recommendations, from equipment and systems required, to functional training, to DOTMLPFI. You'll collaborate and harness the Combatant Command to bring DoD's resources to apply to the mission. Your role will be vital in setting the European theater's defense readiness through integration and interoperability with theater Allies and partners.

You Have:   

  • 7+ years of experience in the security cooperation mission supporting security cooperation activities, military-to-military engagements, or government-to-government partnerships, or in the cybersecurity or cyber defense mission assessing gaps and vulnerabilities, attack vectors at an enterprise level, or standing up network or cybersecurity operations centers

  • 5+ years of experience with conducting strategic-level planning, developing partnerships, or building multi-year engagement road maps

  • 5+ years of experience with developing and delivering briefings to senior leadership

  • Ability to travel throughout Europe for approximately eight trips annually

  • Ability to manage planning efforts of multiple events independently

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

  • IAT or IAM 8570 certification

  

Nice If You Have:   

  • Experience with foreign military sales or foreign military financing

  • Experience participating in planning a cyber exercise or table-top exercise

  • Knowledge of best practices in building NOCs or SOCs

  • Ability to identify capability gaps and recommends solutions

  • Ability to demonstrate continuous learning within the cyber mission domain

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
