We are looking for a Sales Development Representative rockstar to drive our outbound business development efforts. Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers. You will use your communication skills to build strong communication from research, to contact to the qualification process and until handover to the sales department. As an integral part of the company you will fuel the pipeline for Transmit security, creating new opportunities through collaborative account planning with a best-in-class security software sales team and engagement with C-Level and Executive stakeholders in Fortune 100 companies.

This role will be hybrid with 2-3 days in our Boston office located at 500 Boylston Street Boston, MA.
Responsibilities:
- Generate qualified meetings and opportunities for aligned Account Executives by following up on leads and researched prospects
- Utilize active listening skills to uncover customer needs and business problems to effectively communicate how Transmit can solve them
- Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
- Build long-term trusting relationships with clients
- Work cross functionally to increase conversion rates and generate quality pipeline
- Consistently achieve quota by hitting call, email, meeting, and pipeline targets.
- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
- Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Outbound SDR/BDR, Sales Representative or similar role
- Previous experience with sales and prospecting tools a plus: Salesforce, Outreach, Linkedin Sales Navigator
- Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
- A desire to grow and advance a career in sales
- Understanding of SaaS sales performance metrics
- Excellent communication skills
- Creative, positive, organized, problem solver and passionate about success
