As a Compliance Analyst (Contractor), you will be responsible for the day-to-day activities of the team with a high level of independence, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to company policies and procedures

Location: Hybrid, working onsite at our San Jose office/headquarters 3 days per week, with the flexibility to work remotely the remainder of your time

  • Analyze new business initiatives and products to identify potential privacy risks.
  • Develop, amend (as needed) and implement policies, procedures, manuals, systems, and training, where appropriate, due to changes in regulation, industry practice, or otherwise.
  • Collaborates with Cyber Security to ensure alignment between security and privacy compliance programs including policies, practices and investigations.
  • Conducts related ongoing compliance monitoring activities.
  • Track compliance and privacy initiatives to completion.
  • Coordinate and conduct data privacy audits.
  • Assist with data mapping and vendor management reviews.
  • Strong project management skills
  • Recommend and implement strategic improvements on a range of data privacy and data protection issues
  • GDPR/CCPA/CPRA knowledge
  • Critical thinking and excellent problem-solving and analysis skills.
  • Capable of multi-tasking and prioritizing with excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information frequently and appropriately.

What You Bring

  • 3-5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Bachelor's or AA degree
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • An avid learner, you approach challenges with curiosity and resilience, seeking data to help build understanding.
  • You’re collaborative, building relationships, humbly offering support and openly welcoming approaches.
  • Innovative and creative, you proactively explore new ideas and adapt quickly to change.

The pay range below is for all roles at this level across all US locations and functions. Individual pay rates depend on a number of factors—including the role’s function and location, as well as the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, education, and training.

Base Pay Range$35—$45 USD
