STOXX' Compliance department is looking to add a Compliance Analyst to the team to ensure that the Market Abuse and Conflict of Interest Control Frameworks of STOXX are operating effectively. We are looking for a professional excited to design and operate the future of oversight and compliance with material laws and regulations applicable to our business environment in the area of Market Abuse, Anti-corruption and Conflict of Interest. A sharp mind who can quickly identify potential risks and maintain our systems and controls, considering a range of factors. This team member will primarily participate in the surveillance of security transactions and electronic communications to help ensure compliance with internal policies. The candidate will also be required to perform additional monitoring duties to maintain compliance with company policies and regulations. When potentially anomalous behavior is detected, the individual will be responsible for escalating the activity and working collaboratively with the Compliance team to determine the appropriate resolution of the matter. The candidate must be able to work as part of a small team, be accountable and have a strong attention to detail. The position will be located in STOXX' Prague office.

Responsibilities

  • Operating an Employee Compliance Program to manage Market Abuse, Conflict of Interest and Anti-Bribery risks. 

  • Review and analyze alerts and/or reports relating employee trading activity for violations of the company’s policies

  • Perform regular reviews of internal electronic communication and investigate issues that arise

  • Administer and formally record testing and monitoring items as part of the compliance program

  • Maintain employee disclosure records

  • Escalate issues proactively and timely to management and HR

  • Communicate with employees to gather information and resolve compliance violations.

  • Properly document the review of surveillance findings in the compliance system and formally close out system alerts

  • Assist in regulatory and internal investigations

  • Training employees on the compliance framework and the internal requirements and obligations employees shall adhere to

  • Receiving and promptly responding to enquiries from internal employees

  • Continuously developing the policy framework and the related programm/system

Experience:

  • Master’s degree

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience.

Technical:

  • Experience with compliance reporting systems is required

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

  • Excellent English skills

  • Ability to be proactive and follow up to resolve issues

  • Demonstrate sound judgment and apply logical and critical thought process

  • Excellent research and analytical skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to work flexible working hours
