Missions

🎯 Your main goal will be to champion n8n’s workflow automation and AI integration platform within the SecOps space, driving awareness, adoption, and engagement among large enterprise users.

Here’s what you’ll be up to:

1- Engage with the SecOps Community

🛡️ Connect with our vibrant community to gather insights and prioritize SecOps-related features.
🤝 Build and nurture relationships with key SecOps influencers and professionals.
📢 Represent n8n at industry events and webinars, showcasing our platform’s capabilities.

2- Develop Marketing Content and Strategies

📚 Make sure our marketing content is spot-on and super relevant to the SecOps crowd.
🖋️ Create quickstart guides, educational materials, blog posts, and case studies.
🎥 Produce and present engaging webinars and video content for SecOps professionals.

3- Support Sales and Drive Revenue Growth

📈 Jump into key sales conversations to leverage your SecOps expertise.
💡 Develop workflow templates for common SecOps scenarios to boost the sales process.
🏆 Help close deals by addressing the top needs of SecOps personas.

4- Enhance Product Features and User Experience

🔧 Team up with product and engineering to weave SecOps insights into our platform.
🌟 Advocate for feature enhancements that make our platform shine for SecOps users.
📝 Channel community feedback to help prioritize product development.

5- Increase Awareness and Adoption

📈 Drive measurable ARR growth from SecOps use cases.
🌍 Grow and energize our community of SecOps users and advocates.
📊 Keep an eye on key metrics related to SecOps engagement and platform adoption.

Requirements

Must-have

🔒 SecOps Expertise: You have 3-5 years of practical cybersecurity experience in large companies (500+ employees).
📊 SOC Analyst Experience: You’ve been in the trenches as a Tier 1 or 2 SOC Analyst.
🗣️ Public Speaking: You’re known for your public speaking gigs, publications, or active community involvement.
🎤 Presentation Skills: You can make complex tech topics sound exciting and easy to understand.
🌟 SaaS Knowledge: You’re familiar with BtoB SaaS models and growth strategies.

Nice-to-have

👨‍💼 SOC Team Management: You’ve led a SOC team after being an analyst.
🔧 IT Operations: You’ve got a background in IT operations.
🤖 Automated Workflows: You’ve successfully implemented automated workflows in past roles.
📈 AI in SecOps: You’ve dabbled with AI in the SecOps field.
💻 Open Source Involvement: You’re passionate about open source projects.

Your tech stack should look like this:

  • SIEM (security information and event management): Splunk, IBM QRadar, ArcSight
  • EDR (endpoint detection and response): Crowdstrike, Carbon black
  • Vulnerability management: Qualys, Rapid7
  • SOAR (security orchestration, automation and response): Cortex XOSAR (Palo Alto), Splunk, IBM resilient
  • And/Or 2nd generation SOAR: Tines, Workato, Grafana, Prometheus, Swimlane, Torq, etc.
