In this role, you will work with other security professionals, end users, management, vendors, partners, and the information technology department to monitor and test our computer networks/infrastructure for security issues, implement security processes, apply security best practices, and document any security anomalies or incidents identified internally or in the cloud.

Job Scope

• Monitor computer networks for security issues
• Investigate security breaches and other cyber security incidents
• Implement security measures and operate security software to protect systems and information infrastructure
• Document security breaches and assess the impact
• Work with security team and vendors to perform penetration tests, identify network vulnerabilities, and report on the findings to the proper stake holders
• Stay current on IT security trends, news, and help develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate with team members to develop and deliver a continuous phishing security program to our internal organization
• Research security enhancements and make recommendations to management
• Understanding of firewalls, antivirus, privileged access management, and least privilege concepts used in practical deployment
• Practical knowledge and implementation methodologies for PCI, SOC II, NIST, ISO, and GDPR compliance

Job Responsibilities

• Manager our partner relationship to develop, implement, and maintain a continuous penetration testing program to improve BeyondTrust security maturity internally and in the cloud
• Report findings and address mitigation efforts with stakeholders
• Manager our partner relationship to develop, implement, and maintain a continuous phishing program for our internal employees to help improve security awareness.
• Report metrics (click percentage, page visits, etc) of our employees to address different training techniques for continued awareness.
• Support the Information Security team as a stakeholder to continually improve tools and processes for internal security maturity

Skills and Experience

• 5+ Years or more security experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
• IS2, SANS, or other equivalent security certifications are preferred.
